My passion is creating ceremonies that honor love in all its forms—whether it’s a traditional wedding, an intimate elopement, a multicultural celebration, or a vow renewal.

My Journey to Becoming a Celebrant

Originally from the Philippines, I migrated to Australia in 1975, bringing with me a deep appreciation for love, family, and tradition. With a background in education and community service, I built a fulfilling career in the government sector, where I took on roles such as Supervisor, Job Education and Training Officer, Disability Support Officer, and Team Leader. My work allowed me to engage deeply with people from all walks of life, developing strong interpersonal skills that I now bring to my celebrant role.

In 1995, I was nominated as a Civil Marriage Celebrant (Reg No. CMCA3551), a role that has since become my greatest passion. Since then, I have officiated weddings and ceremonies for countless couples, helping them create unforgettable moments that truly represent their love and values. My journey has also included serving as a Justice of the Peace (Reg No. 104571) since 1989, reinforcing my commitment to serving the community with integrity and professionalism.

Being Filipino-Australian, I deeply appreciate the importance of family, culture, and meaningful traditions. My approach is to blend modern and traditional elements so that your ceremony feels both timeless and personal.

I proudly served as the Press Relations Officer in the 1980s, advocating for Filipino-Australians and assisting with employment, migration support, and community outreach. My deep connection to the community has shaped my approach as a celebrant—I believe in inclusivity, warmth, and creating a space where every couple feels at home.
